Whimsical flowers, one Kentucky bloom at a time

What We Do

Wildwoods & Blooms is a small flower farm in Kentucky cultivating whimsical, seasonal fresh‑cut flowers for local florists, farmers markets, and CSA flower subscriptions. We grow with intention- favoring beauty, sustainable farming, and long vase life—to create remarkable, one of a kind floral arrangements that celebrate the changing seasons. We also offer a complete Flower Bar service for weddings, showers or any events.

Alongside our blooms, we craft artisan sourdough baked goods made from carefully sourced ingredients and traditional long fermentation techniques. Our breads are available at our local farmers market and through online ordering.

A small Kentucky farm-growing beauty & baking happiness.

Our farm is nestled in a quiet corner of Western Kentucky in the small town of Cadiz, we are a husband-and-wife team (Adam & Nicole) cultivating blooms, beauty and balance. This past year our nest felt a little empty as our little man is grown and serving our country overseas—oorahh!—so we felt the need to fill our new time and nest with new added on dreams. While my husband, Adam, continues his full-time work as a biologist for Kentucky Fish and Wildlife, I decided after twelve years as a licensed veterinary nurse in emergency medicine to retire and switch directions.

For years, my world revolved around the controlled chaos of the emergency veterinary room. Nights blurred into mornings under fluorescent lights, where every shift meant life-or-death decisions, heartbreak, and the quiet determination to do everything possible for the animals who came through our doors. I witnessed resilience and love in its purest form, but I also carried the weight of loss, exhaustion, and compassion fatigue. The work demanded everything—physically, emotionally, and mentally—and over time, it began to take pieces of me with it.

Emergency veterinary medicine shaped who I am. It taught me endurance, empathy, and the profound bond between humans and the animals they love. But after years in that world, my body was worn down and my spirit needed something different—something quieter, gentler, and restorative.

Now, I am stepping into a new but familiar chapter: flower farming. Where there were once stainless steel tables and urgent alarms, there will be soil, sun, and seasons. Growing flowers feels like a way to reconnect with life in its simplest and most hopeful form. Each seed planted is a small act of healing—for the land, for others, and for myself.

This transition isn’t about leaving my past behind. The years I spent in emergency veterinary medicine will always be part of me. But tending flowers is my way of reclaiming balance, finding peace, and nurturing something beautiful after so many years spent fighting against loss. In this new season, I’m learning that healing can grow quietly—one Kentucky bloom at a time.

In 2025 we took a leap of flower faith: I left the corporate world and poured all my flower dreams into one basket, turning our patch of Kentucky soil into a place of renewal, beauty, and hard-won joy.

Welcome to Wildwoods & Blooms, we’re so glad you’re here!
